UMIDIGI Power 3 Review
The UMIDIGI Power 3 smartphone has four camera modules, an Helio P60 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. And most importantly – a 6500mAh powerful battery, the phone can even be used as a power bank. Hence the actual name of the model. To this, you can add NFC, the presence of fast charging, a triple slot for sim cards and memory cards. UMIDIGI Power 3, the price is $150 on the Aliexpress website (at the time of this writing).
Design
The height of the smartphone 162.1mm. At the same time, the body width is 77.2 mm, making the device less comfortable to hold in the hands. In terms of thickness, the UMIDIGI Power 3 is 10.3 mm (the average for competitors is ≈ 9.17 mm) which makes it thicker than its peers. The assembled smartphone weighs 228 g, while the body materials are Aluminium alloy. These materials are inherent in premium phones, which affects the cost of the device.
Display
The matrix of the screen is built using S-IPS technology and displays bright saturated colors, while not fading during operation. The display size is 6.53 inches, and the pixel density is 395 dpi, which is a common indicator with an average value of 327.75 ppi among competitors. This pixel density figure is enough to not notice the pixels on the screen.
The usable screen area is 83.91% in relation to the phone body. This indicator is the maximum indicator. 77.22% is the average ratio of the display area to the body of smartphones.
Performance
The device is built on the basis of the well-known chip MediaTek Helio P60 (MT6771) and has 8 cores with a maximum clock frequency of 2000 MHz. If the task is to process video files, then this device can easily cope with this load and can be a good candidate for a purchase.
UMIDIGI Power 3 has 4 GB RAM which is typical for this class of phones. This amount of memory (4 GB) is capable of providing both basic tasks of a smartphone and processing high-resolution media files. When shooting videos and photos, you will not feel the inconvenience and slowdowns.
The UMIDIGI Power 3 has a capacity of 64 GB and is the only available modification (as at time of publishing). Nevertheless, this volume will be sufficient for stable operation of the device, updating applications and storing a small amount of media information. Do not forget about the support for memory cards (microSDXC, microSDHC, microSD), which can expand the internal drive if necessary.
Camera
The main camera of UMIDIGI Power 3 has a resolution of 48 MP, which is a good indicator for a mobile camera. However, it should be understood that not only megapixels are important for the camera, but also the size of the matrix with the aperture.
The aperture allows the amount of light to enter the sensor through the lens. The index of the opening degree of the shutter in the reviewed smartphone is f / 1.79, the smaller, the better the pictures in low light (evening city, candles, dim light in the room …).
In addition to the main camera, the UMIDIGI has 3 more auxiliary cameras that allow you to change the angle of capture, make artistic effects without further processing and fully show the imagination of the photographer.
Battery
The phone is equipped with a 6150 mAh battery. This is a good indicator for today, which makes the smartphone a long-liver even under significant load.
